Virtual Executive Assistant – Job Description

Company Summary

CareWorks Health Services is a in-home caregiving agency that provides caregivers to elderly and disabled people (children and adults) to help them with their daily activities like bathing, dressing feeding, errands, and household tasks.
We are looking for a virtual executive assistant to provide administrative support to the CEO and team while working remotely. This role will require you work PST (Los Angeles time zone) initially until we determine if the role can be more flexible on the schedule. Position will range from 20 hours a week in the beginning to 40 hours (full time) once you are fully trained.

Job Duties
• Email & calendar management
• Create presentations
• Payroll Assistant
• Invoice clients
• Perform market research
• Database building, entry, and updates
• Recruiting for potential team members (source for office staff as needed)
• Prepare & create operation procedures book & transcriptions
• Manage, build relationships, update social media and marketing accounts (MailChimp, Facebook, LinkedIn)
• Produce Reports
• Guest blogging, posting, and commenting (to increase links to our site)
• Participate in discussion forums or message boards
• Generic online errands
• Travel & event planning

Requirements
• Proven experience as an Executive Virtual Assistant or relevant role
• 2 years experience in copy/content writing for email newsletters and blogs
• Familiarity with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services and VoIP
• Experience with social media (FaceBook /LinkedIn) and email marketing platforms (MailChimp)
• Experience with MS Office
• Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (Outlook or Google Calendar)
• Excellent phone, email and instant messaging communication skills
