Technical Support Specialist- Home Based (Day Shift)

Dash10 Managed Services, a representative office of Zeald, a New Zealand-based company, is looking for a competent, enthusiastic, positive, and self-driven individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist.

Zeald is one of the largest full-service website design, online marketing, and e-business consulting companies in New Zealand, and has been voted ‘Best Web Developer’ in the country. Zeald helps NZ & Australian businesses who are frustrated by the lack of leads and sales they get from their websites & and other online marketing activities.

The purpose of your role is to track and resolve customer support queries associated with the Zeald product and service. This role is centered on the timely successful resolution of customer support queries and assisting customers with E-business advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work to ensure that a positive image of Zeald is portrayed to our clients via each of the touchpoints of support.

* Answering clients’ technical how-to queries by guiding them to resources such as ‘online help’ and teaching the client to find the answers themselves - Guiding the client through a step-by-step outline of how to complete certain objectives.

* Diagnosing and logging a bug for functionality that should be in the system.

* Take responsibility for assigned areas to ensure that tasks are completed on time and according to specification

* Listen and understand what particular issue the customer is having or what they are trying to achieve at this time.

* Ensure clients’ problems are identified and solved with the least amount of hassle to the client.

* Facilitating a quote for customization to add new functionality to their website to achieve clients’ requirements.

* Provide creative solutions that would allow the client to achieve their requirements or similar requirements using the standard system or add-on products.

* Use effective communication to deliver paid solutions to clients’ problems. Follow each solution through to increase the chances that the solution is adopted by the client.

* Diligent tracking and logging of all customer support cases.

* Continuously improve by doing regular training, and research to ensure that you are confident with: customer service procedures and methods, Zeald products and services, and industry and e-business knowledge

Key Attributes:

* Relevant work experience in the same field for at least 2 years

* Excellent communication and listening skills

* A good command of the English language (written and verbal)

* Fast learner and highly analytical

* Ability to adapt to change and considers new approaches

* Has high attention to detail and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks

* Can work independently with minimal supervision and provide high accuracy work output

* Strongly self-motivated

* Positive, polite, willing, and adaptable

* Graduate of an IT course is an advantage
