The Team Leader manages, directs, and controls his/her agents to ensure that the team will meet the targets and that everydiv will perform their duties according to the instructions and guidelines laid down by the Management. He/she ensures that the calls are answered effectively and efficiently. Aside from that, the Team Leader is also expected to perform the following:

  • In charge of running and managing the call center daily
  • Set targets for all call center agents to meet up with
  • Monitor all calls to ensure that due procedures and quality standards are strictly adhered
  • Understand all organization’s products, services, procedures and guidelines and communicate same to all team members when necessary
  • Facilitate and organize training sessions for all agents and participate in recruitment of new call center agents
  • Recommend and purchase gadgets to enhance job performance at the call center
  • Generate action plans to enhance performance and productive capacity of nonperforming personnel
  • Provide statistical and performance feedback and coaching on a regular basis to each team member
  • Submit regular reports to management and seek new ideas and strategies to improve performance at the center
  • Establish work procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives
  • Ensure a safe and harmonious working environment for all other team members and delegate duties to all team members
  • Other duties as assigned

  • A Graduate of any 4 or 5 year course
  • At least 4 to 5 years work experience in a call center setting or equivalent as a Team Leader or Supervisor
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to prioritize task, manage workloads, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft products
  • Good interpersonal and management skills
  • Results-driven
