Retail Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Retail Operations Manager oversees, develops, monitors and ensures the implementation of systems, processes, operations relating to back office and store operations. He/she is responsible in achieving targets and growth through seamless accountability on sales and inventory, profit and loss, team coordination, improved relationship with trade partners and assured success of merchandising and marketing programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Formulates sales plan and targets covering all applicable territories.

2. Develops and implements tactical and strategic plans and actions to achieve sales objective.

3. Ensures growth pattern of different distribution channels while maintaining brand integrity.

4. Direct proper implementation of inventory oriented culture in all accounts/store, ensuring adequate, right mix and replenishment of products including frequency of delivery and safekeeping.

5. Manages the coordination and execution of all marketing plans and program for every account including post evaluation on effectiveness of marketing campaigns/programs.

6. Ensures proper coordination with warehouse and brand group on timely, accurate and right mix of stocks and ensures proper management of inventory level in every account/store.

7. Manages customer complaints on products and takes appropriate action to address the concerns to ensure client satisfaction within brand and company guidelines.

8. Analyzes data from market and industry study and recommends appropriate plans to the brand and other concerned group/department.

9. Evaluates business feasibility by applying the project management practices – conversion of business opportunities into quantifiable objectives, assessment of the attainability of objectives, resource allocation, risk management, cost-sales analysis, marketing plan and project implementation/scheduling

10. Recommends policies and procedures to improve sales force and enhance company objectives.

11. Develops new business plans for the applicable territorial account on permanent and temporary basis.

12. Conduct periodic Business Reviews and accomplish a Monthly Operational Report in conjunction with the overall business operation

13. Manage the team and ensure that they possess the correct selling, training, and marketing skills

14. Develops, motivates and trains sales workforce, both in the back office and store to help achieve better sales performance and growth.


· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.

· At least 3 year(s) experience in the same capacity in providing significant contributions in sales, merchandising standards and store operations preferably in fashion retail industry.

· Has strong leadership capabilities to bring his/her team to meet business objectives.

· Skills Required: Store Operations, People Management, Inventory Management, Sales Management and Analysis, Customer Relations
