Process Engineering Technician I

Provides technical support for the Process team's activities on a project. Duties involve maintaining and distributing documentation for the Project's Process team.
Key requirements are good organizational skills, communication skills, and computer literacy. Develop basic skills through available training. Prior office experience is beneficial. PowerPoint, Visio, Access or equivalent computer skills are favorable. Activities include, but are not limited to:

Job Functions

  • Assist Process Engineering Lead Technician
  • Excel and Word Skills
  • Maintain document tracking and document consistency
  • Distribute information as appropriate
  • Assist in maintaining Process file system
  • Input and maintain equipment list
  • Database input
  • Assist in report preparations
  • Scribe for HAZOP (PHA)
  • Participate in technical researches
  • Participate in the project close out activities
  • Attend training classes
Basic Job Requirements:
A graduate of Chemical Engineering Technology course or equivalent
No work experience required

Software Knowledge & Experience
- MICROSOFT Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and others)
- Visio
- Basic AutoCAD or equivalent
- Adobe or Bluebeam
