JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager, Business Development is responsible meeting sales initiatives and help customers improve their operations. He/ she will help establish strong relationship with current and potential customers as well as with the key influencers. He/ she will be the resource person in subjects pertaining Distribution Channel Ops management and process improvement. He/ she will be involved in gaining and sharing knowledge to the Sales Team, Distributors, Dealers and other related entities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & MARKET INTELLIGENCE

  • Contribute to the achievement of the company’s strategic goals of strengthening the current distribution channel by improving/equipping their operations with process and system software improvements and set performance standards and job expectations
  • Lead the SI and OP Demand Control Process/committee to ensure Sales and Operations Planning success (reconciles supply, demand and new product innovations)
  • Lead the reverse logistics (trade returns) process improvements, quarterly assessment and projections
  • Lead in improving and strengthening the warehousing and logistics solutions and capability of dealers and distributors on partnership with order fulfillment team with the end goal of achieving operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide tailored, simplified and innovative solutions for customers that can bring sustainable value to their business
  • Perform an in-depth analysis of all processes across the organisation in order to re-engineer and develop an optimal supply chain operating processes and network for customers
Qualifications

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:

  • BS degree, a graduate of any course
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • At least ten (10) years’ work experience in selling/marketing preferably in the supply chain & logistics industry
