International Procurement Officer


Position Title: International Procurement Officer

Reports to: Procurement Manager

Basic Function: *

Communicates inside and outside the Country

Assess and recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals

Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions

Maintain supplier relationships

Prepare and maintain purchasing records and reports

Coordinates merchandising tools with supplier and design and visual merchandising department

Maintains and monitors supplier profiles and activities

Sourcing and comparing suppliers for required items as deemed needed by the company

Assist in the development of specifications for materials and services to be purchased

Identify, negotiate, and implement contract and framework agreements which results inefficiency in line with financial and forecasting requirements.

4. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Ø Provide a strategic, efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and best quality of service for Sanitary Ware, Vinyl Flooring, and Mosaic.

Support the Procurement Manager in procurement activities such as the tender process, grant requirements, supplier relationships for goods and services.

Assisting in and supervising the procurement of goods and services and other procurement activities as directed by the Procurement Manager

Assist with purchases and order inquiries

Leading and monitoring supplier relationships for specific products assigned

Assisting in the development of internal procedures and documentation for specific products assigned

Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.

Assist with meetings for future strategies and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.

Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls, and processes.

5. Job Specifications

*JOB SPECIALIZATION: Procurement/Marketing/Supply Chain/ Public Relations/*EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: Bachelor

*FIELD OF STUDIES: At least a Bachelor/College Degree – Business Management/



*YEAR/S OF EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of experience

*LANGUAGE: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English

(Chinese Language is an advantage)

*SKILL/S: With experience in International Communication and Trading Industry

Preferably knowledgeable in Basic Accounting

Supply chain work-related skill

Exposure in handling business is advantage

Proficient in Microsoft office

Professional, highly analytical, keen on details and can work with minimum supervision

*OTHERS: Willing to travel abroad
