The Marketing Director is in-charge with the company’s marketing ventures. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and help it find a “voice” that will make a difference.

Ideally, the Marketing Director will employ unique marketing techniques. As the Marketing Director, you should be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.

As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible in creating and executing strategies to market products and generate sales through our online channels. Your goal is to increase the company’s market share and maximize revenues in order to thrive against competitors.

? Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities.
? Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals.
? Produce ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently.
? Plan and execute campaigns for corporate promotion, launching of new product lines etc.
? Monitor progress and submit performance reports.
? Responsible for producing valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organizing the company’s publications.
? Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitor’s marketing movements.
? Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
? Become the company’s agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships.

? Brand Management: Ensure that the brand is positioned within retail and pro customer websites according to company brand guidelines and best practices. As the Marketing Director, you should identify opportunities for improved brand
positioning. Monitor and engage in customer-owned web-based communication channels, such as Q&A and Product Reviews, to drive a positive customer experience and increased affinity for the brand.

? Digital Marketing: Being the Marketing Director, you will be responsible in developing, executing and optimizing digital marketing across key Retail and e-commerce channels to ensure delivery of defined company goals. You should set
targets and benchmarks to develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of the company’s content marketing, email automation, and social media strategies and tactics, specific to retail and e-commerce channels. Also, you should Manage day-to-day e-commerce budget and develop the business case to secure incremental investments based on program performance.

? Manage and Develop Team: Being the Marketing Director, it your duty to manage and set priorities for the team. You will be in-charge in the Development of team and talent management with a focus on building bench strength. Eliminate barriers and road blocks to deliver outcomes for team. Ensures collaboration across teams and departments into the broader Enterprise. Attract, develop and retain digital talent and future digital leaders.
