Food and beverage supervisors are generally responsible for all of the business operations of a dining establishment. Duties typically include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling and managing employees, as well as overseeing inventory, including food and beverages, supplies and other restaurant equipment. Supervisor are also responsible for resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and service and making sure the business complies with health and food safety regulations. In addition, most supervisor perform administrative tasks such as managing payroll and writing budgets.
Requires good communication skills both verbal and written.
Knowledge of computer programs, basic kitchen, and bar equipment.
Ability to solve problems and make ratio
Must have basic math skills. Some advanced education in math preferred for example
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
College Education - Hotel and Restaurant Management/ Hospitality Mangement
3 years experience in food and beverage supervisory/manager role. Restaurant or Hotel
